The blood test is perfect for you if you …
Lack of motivation that sleep cannot resolve
– Testosterone and DHEA-S influence drive and resilience.
Less strength during training with the same workload
– Free testosterone is more informative here than the total level.
Sleep problems over an extended period
– Prolactin and the thyroid are associated with this.
A normal testosterone level at the doctor’s office, but symptoms persist
– The total level can be normal while the active fraction is low.
Desire to have children or questions about fertility
– LH and FSH show whether the signal from the brain is getting through.
The test is particularly suitable for preventive health screening or if you want to tailor your diet and daily routine specifically to your body’s needs.
Product description for men's hormone test
mybody®x’s HormonCheck is an at-home blood test for men that measures ten hormone levels. It measures total and free testosterone, the regulatory hormones from the pituitary gland, DHEA-S, estradiol, and TSH. Sample collection takes just a few minutes, and the sample is analyzed at a specialized laboratory in Germany.
Testosterone is usually measured only as a total value. Most of it is bound to SHBG and albumin in the blood and is therefore not active. The HormonCheck also measures both of these transport proteins and uses them to calculate free testosterone—the proportion that actually reaches the body’s tissues.
Testosterone fluctuates throughout the day and is highest in the morning. Therefore, note the time of sample collection; otherwise, the result can hardly be interpreted. If you also want to assess your liver, kidneys, and preventive health markers, the Men’s Wellness Check is the more comprehensive test. Our consultation service is available if you have questions about your results.

What to expect:
The Value Behind the Total
Lack of drive, poor sleep, less strength during training: Testosterone is usually measured only as a total value. That value can appear normal while the proportion that is actually active in the body is too low. The HormoneCheck calculates exactly that as well.
✔️ Total and free testosterone – plus SHBG and albumin, the two transport proteins used to calculate free testosterone.
✔️ The regulatory hormones – LH, FSH, and prolactin. They show whether the signal from the brain is getting through or whether the issue lies further down the line.
✔️ DHEA-S, estradiol, and TSH – the values that complete the picture. Estradiol is relevant for men too.
What the Men's Hormone Test cannot do: Testosterone fluctuates considerably throughout the day and is highest in the morning. A single measurement in the afternoon says little. The time the sample was taken should therefore be included in the report.
If you also want to cover your liver, kidneys, and preventive health screening, the Men's Wellness Check is the broader test. The HormoneCheck goes deeper into hormones instead – with an interpretation tailored to your age and training routine.

Questions? We have the answers!
Why should I have a comprehensive hormone panel tested?
Many complaints—from fatigue to loss of libido—have hormonal causes. A complete profile of testosterone, LH, FSH, prolactin, DHEA-S, and TSH shows exactly where an imbalance is present.
What are the differences between this test and a testosterone-only test?
The hormone check measures additional markers such as prolactin, LH, FSH, and thyroid levels. This way, you can identify not only whether a problem exists, but why—for example, due to stress, thyroid issues, or disruptions in hormone production.
I don’t have severe symptoms— is the test still worth it?
Yes. Many hormonal changes begin gradually. Early testing helps you take timely action and stay healthy in the long term.
How reliable is the analysis for my life situation?
The results are based on certified laboratory diagnostics and provide precise insights that you can use for your health, everyday life, and training.
Can the test provide indications of fertility?
Yes. LH and FSH are important markers of male fertility and can indicate whether there are changes that should be medically evaluated.

Understanding men’s hormones: Why a hormone blood test is so crucial
Hormonal changes affect every man—regardless of age. Testosterone, DHEA-S, LH, FSH, and prolactin influence key areas of your health: energy, libido, muscle strength, mood, sleep, and metabolism. An imbalance often develops gradually and remains undetected for a long time. The Hormone Check | Men’s Hormone Test offers you a scientifically sound way to check your most important hormone levels quickly and reliably—without waiting, without a doctor’s appointment, and conveniently from home. Many men only discover through a hormone blood test that their symptoms are not “normal” but have clear biological causes. By knowing your levels, you can take targeted action and build greater performance, strength, and vitality over the long term. This test is a valuable tool for men who want to take an active role in managing their health and identify risks at an early stage.
Testosterone is the key hormone for men’s health. It affects libido, metabolism, muscle growth, energy levels, and mental resilience. However, it is not only the total level that matters — above all, it is free testosterone, the biologically active form of the hormone. By measuring testosterone, SHBG, and albumin, the test can precisely calculate how much testosterone is actually available to your body. Low levels can explain fatigue, loss of strength, libido problems, or weight gain. At the same time, periods of high stress or lack of sleep can affect hormonal balance. With the Hormone Check, you gain clarity about your actual hormonal activity and learn which factors improve or hinder your levels. The result: a clear foundation for sustainably increasing your energy, performance, and well-being.
In addition to testosterone, LH and FSH also play a crucial role in male hormonal function. These hormones regulate testosterone production and sperm formation and provide insights into how well the testes are functioning. Elevated or reduced levels may indicate hormonal disorders that often go unnoticed. Prolactin, another important hormone, can contribute to libido problems, fatigue, or mood swings when elevated. The Hormone Check provides a comprehensive analysis of these three key markers — ideal if you suspect that stress, lifestyle, or health changes are affecting your hormonal function. The results help you identify connections and take targeted steps to improve fertility, energy, and overall well-being.
The thyroid is often associated with women’s health, but it also plays a central role for men. The TSH marker shows whether your thyroid is functioning optimally — even slight changes can have a major impact on energy, sleep, weight, concentration, and metabolism. Low or elevated TSH levels can explain fatigue, weight gain, nervousness, or mood swings. Many men overlook the fact that an imbalanced TSH level can cause symptoms similar to testosterone deficiency. The Hormone Check measures your TSH level precisely and helps you determine whether a thyroid imbalance is contributing to your symptoms. This gives you a complete picture of your hormonal health and enables you to take targeted steps to bring your body back into balance.
DHEA-S is one of the most important hormones in the male body and is closely linked to stress regulation, energy, mood, and immune function. Low levels can lead to fatigue, exhaustion, stress sensitivity, or a lack of motivation. The Hormone Check measures your DHEA-S level and shows you how well your body compensates for stress and provides energy. Together with testosterone, prolactin, and TSH, it provides a comprehensive picture of your hormonal stress balance. If you often feel “empty” or barely able to recover, DHEA-S can be a crucial marker. The test helps you understand how stress, sleep, diet, or training affect your levels—and shows you where you can take action to sustainably improve your well-being.
The Hormone Check is ideal for men who want to check their health conveniently and discreetly. The blood sample is collected easily at home, with no waiting times, no doctor’s visit, and complete privacy. Your sample is then analyzed in a certified medical laboratory that meets the highest quality standards. You receive the results digitally — clearly structured and easy to understand, even without any medical knowledge. The test provides precise data on testosterone, SHBG, LH, FSH, prolactin, TSH, albumin, and DHEA-S. These values give you a scientifically sound basis for adjusting your lifestyle, correctly interpreting symptoms, or seeking medical advice if needed. A modern health check for all men who want to take responsibility for their well-being.
