All mybody®x laboratory tests—including DNA tests, blood tests, and microbiome tests—are evaluated in Germany, without exception, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 27001. You read the Home rapid tests yourself at home; no laboratory is involved. Nevertheless, we do not rule out a residual error rate of one percent, as stated in Section 13 of our General Terms and Conditions. The other side is just as important: No mybody®x test provides a diagnosis. A finding describes a condition, not a cause. Anyone experiencing acute symptoms does not need a test but an appointment with a doctor.

How long the analysis takes depends on the type of test, calculated from the time your sample arrives at the laboratory: blood tests 3 to 5 business days, stool tests 5 to 10 business days, DNA tests 15 to 25 business days. Home rapid tests do not involve a laboratory; you read the result yourself after 5 to 10 minutes. The shipment of the test kit to you takes place before these periods and is not included in them. You will receive your analysis report digitally, with the results and recommendations for nutrition and lifestyle. As of August 2026; subject to change.

A DNA test from mybody®x describes predispositions, such as how your body processes carbohydrates or how pronounced your feeling of satiety is. It does not describe diseases or make predictions. DNA analysis is used for nutrition and lifestyle advice; it is not a diagnostic procedure and does not replace a medical examination. Genetic variants describe probabilities in population groups, not fixed outcomes for individuals. Or, in short: Predisposition is not destiny.

The saliva sample and DNA sequence are completely destroyed two months after the analysis is completed. Your sample reaches the laboratory pseudonymized, meaning it bears a number instead of your name, and your data is transmitted using SSL encryption. All data handling complies with the GDPR, and information security is certified according to ISO 27001. Your health data is not sold or shared with third parties.

We generally ship your order within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Standard shipping to Germany then takes around two to four business days, and to other countries around three to seven business days. If you need it faster, express shipping for 24.99 euros delivers within one to two business days. Your package is shipped via DHL, Post AT, Die Post CH, or UPS, depending on the destination country (as of August 2026).

Standard shipping to Germany costs €4.50, and orders over €49 are delivered free of charge to Germany and Austria. Shipping to Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Luxembourg costs €9.90; to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, it starts at CHF 5.90. For France, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and Monaco, the cost is €11.90; for Slovakia, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands, it is €13.90. We will replace a test kit that is not functioning free of charge, without requiring you to prove the cause. For returns: You may cancel your purchase of an unopened, still-sealed kit within 14 days of receiving it. Once the seal has been removed, the right of cancellation no longer applies for health protection and hygiene reasons, as stipulated in Section 11(6) of our General Terms and Conditions. The reason is simple: An opened kit has been used and cannot be reused. Send your cancellation notice to support@mybody-x.com; the item itself should be sent to our return address in Schorndorf.

All laboratory tests are analyzed in Germany: DNA tests from saliva, blood values from capillary blood, and microbiome tests from stool samples. This applies without exception. The at-home rapid tests do not go to a laboratory at all; you read the result yourself at home. The brand originates in Switzerland, and the company is also based there; only the micellar products are Swiss made. So if you read that Switzerland and Germany come together at mybody®x: the origin is Swiss, while the laboratory work is German.

The rating is 4.77 out of 5 based on more than 540 customer reviews, and 97 percent of respondents would recommend mybody®x (as of August 2026). Some context is important: Reviews reflect the experiences of individual people. They say something about clarity, the process, and service, but they are not evidence of what result your test will show.

The laboratory processes behind mybody®x are certified according to three standards: ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 13485 for quality management of medical devices, and ISO 27001 for information security. Each of these standards examines a defined, documented process. That is also their limitation: A certificate guarantees the process, not the truth. It proves that the work is carried out properly, not that an individual measurement is the right answer for you.
