You're noticing more and more often:

Support at every stage of life: energy, hormones, sexuality & prostate health

At mybody®, men's health means far more than mere fitness or physical strength. It encompasses every aspect of well-being—from energy, sleep, and performance to hormonal balance and metabolism, as well as key bodily functions such as libido, stress regulation, and prostate health. Each of these areas is governed by complex biological processes that can change over the course of a lifetime.

A healthy lifestyle and a balanced, micronutrient-rich diet form the foundation. Yet in everyday life—amid professional stress, insufficient sleep, intensive training, or irregular eating habits—the need for vitamins, minerals, and more is often not fully met. This is where mybody® comes in: Our blood tests, hormone analyses, and specialized checkups help men understand their health from a completely new perspective.

They show where your body needs support, which micronutrients may be critical, and how hormones, inflammation markers, or blood lipids affect your performance. High-quality dietary supplements can provide targeted support as a complement—for more energy, balanced hormones, a strong cardiovascular system, and long-term well-being.

Are mybody products also available through a subscription?

A classic subscription with savings is currently not promoted as a standard option on the website. However, there are promotions/bundles as well as payment options such as installment payments or “buy now, pay later” that are communicated in several places. For recurring benefits, we recommend subscribing to the newsletter and checking combination sets; this way, you can secure discounts and seasonal deals (e.g., Black Week).

Why is the time of testosterone sampling so important?

Testosterone fluctuates considerably throughout the day and is highest in the morning. A sample taken in the late afternoon therefore regularly shows a lower level, even though nothing has changed in your hormone balance. Take the sample early and note the time; otherwise, the result can hardly be interpreted. For the same reason, a single measurement is considered a starting point, not a definitive assessment.

What lies outside these tests?

They do not diagnose you or explain any symptoms. An abnormal result does not mean that you are ill, and a normal result does not rule anything out. Genetic variants describe probabilities in population groups and do not determine anything about you personally. What you receive are figures with context that you can use in a discussion with a doctor. In the case of persistent or sudden symptoms, medical evaluation should come first.

When does it become worthwhile, and how often should I measure again?

You don't need a specific reason. Many men measure for the first time when their training, sleep, or drive has changed; others simply establish a baseline while nothing is causing concern yet. Blood test results fluctuate, so repeating the test after 6 to 12 months makes sense, or whenever your weight, workload, or diet has changed significantly.

In this overview, you will find answers to common questions about the mybody tests.

What is meant by men’s health?

Men’s health encompasses far more than muscle strength or visible fitness. It describes the interaction of all physical, hormonal, and metabolic processes that influence energy, mood, sexual function, the cardiovascular system, and long-term well-being. Men go through different stages of life—from young adulthood and periods of intense performance demands to later life, when heart health, prostate function, and hormonal balance become increasingly important.

Many factors determine men’s health: testosterone levels, thyroid function, cardiovascular stability, micronutrient supply, stress levels, and lifestyle habits. mybody® combines modern diagnostics with scientifically sound health checks such as the Body-Balance Check | Testosterone Test, the Hormone Check | Men’s Hormone Test, and the Cardio-Risk Check | Cardiovascular Risk Test to give men clear guidance. This makes visible what often remains hidden—and shows how individualized health strategies can be.

Which tests are most important for me as a man and for my health?

Today, the most important areas of men’s health can be analyzed precisely using modern laboratory tests. mybody® offers a selection of scientifically sound tests specifically tailored to men’s needs:

► Hormone analysis (testosterone, SHBG, prolactin, LH, FSH, TSH)

Hormonal imbalances affect energy, libido, muscle strength, metabolism, and mood. Tests such as the Body-Balance Check or the Hormone Check reveal whether hormonal causes may be behind symptoms.

► Cardiovascular risk tests (cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, CRP, lipoprotein(a))

With the Cardio-Risk Check, men can identify risk factors for heart attack and stroke at an early stage—silent and unnoticed for a long time, but crucial to quality of life.

► Metabolic and vital nutrient tests

Vitamin D deficiency, imbalanced electrolytes, or inflammatory markers directly affect energy, the immune system, and hormonal function.

► Prostate and male organ function (PSA, liver and kidney markers)

In later life, these markers become essential for detecting changes at an early stage.

With mybody®, every man receives a clear, digital, and easy-to-understand analysis of his most important health parameters—directly from home.

Understanding hormones in everyday life

Hormones are the silent conductors of the male body. They control almost all essential functions: energy, metabolism, muscle strength, libido, sleep, the stress response, concentration, and emotional balance. Even minor deviations can have major effects—often without men recognizing the hormonal causes.

Testosterone is the central hormone for performance, muscle strength, and sexual function.

SHBG determines how much testosterone is actually active.

Prolactin affects libido and stress balance.

DHEA-S is closely linked to long-term vitality and energy.

TSH controls the thyroid—and therefore metabolism, weight, and mental performance.

Many men’s daily routines—stress, lack of sleep, intensive work, little exercise, alcohol, and chronic strain—directly affect these hormones. mybody® tests such as the Hormone Check or the Body-Balance Check show what your hormone levels are really like. Only with this knowledge can you consciously decide which changes will sustainably improve your health.

What are the consequences of testosterone deficiency?

Testosterone deficiency often develops subtly and is therefore frequently overlooked or recognized only at a late stage. However, its consequences affect many areas of men’s health:

► Lack of energy and fatigue:

Even sufficient sleep no longer provides recovery.

► Decreased muscle strength and increased body fat:

Despite training, progress fails to materialize.

► Reduced libido and sexual dysfunction:

Testosterone is the central hormone for sexual health.

► Mood swings, irritability, and mental exhaustion:

Men report feeling “empty inside” or lacking motivation.

► Reduced bone density and long-term health risks:

Persistent deficiency also affects the body structurally.

► Reduced resilience and slow recovery:

Both physically and mentally.

The Body-Balance Check | Testosterone Test and the Hormone Check show not only the total level but also free testosterone, SHBG, and prolactin—which are crucial for understanding the true hormonal balance. This allows you to take targeted action before symptoms become chronic.

Why does my diet affect my male bodily functions?

Diet is one of the strongest influencing factors on men’s health—and directly affects hormones, metabolism, energy production, and cardiovascular function.

► Fats and cholesterol

Cholesterol is the basic building block for testosterone. Too little healthy fat or impaired fat metabolism (LDL/HDL/triglycerides) affects hormonal activity and vascular health. The Cardio-Risk Check shows whether your levels are optimal.

► Micronutrients such as vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc

They are necessary for hormone production, libido, sleep quality, and recovery. A deficiency can quickly lead to reduced performance or mood swings.

► Sugar and refined carbohydrates

They promote inflammation (CRP), excess weight, and insulin resistance—a combination that can severely impair hormones.

► Proteins and amino acids

They affect muscle building, testosterone production, and metabolic activity.

► Salt and mineral balance (sodium, calcium)

Essential for heart rhythm, blood pressure, and energy balance.

Only when you understand how diet affects your bodily functions can you make targeted adjustments. mybody® provides the data you need through modern tests that show how diet, hormones, and lifestyle interact.

Every body processes nutrients differently—while some people metabolize carbohydrates well, others’ bodies store them as fat reserves. The WEIGHTLOSS SLIM DNA Test analyzes your genetic metabolic profile and shows which diet best suits you. Based on your individual genetics, you receive personalized recommendations for calorie intake, macronutrient distribution, and optimal diet types. This allows you to lose weight in a targeted way without unnecessary diets or risking yo-yo effects. The test not only provides insight into your metabolism but also supports you in maintaining your weight over the long term. The sample is collected easily using a saliva test, and the analysis is carried out in a certified laboratory. Your results are then available to you digitally and help you find a diet that truly suits you.

Everyone responds differently to training—while some benefit from intense endurance sessions, others achieve better results with targeted strength training. The FITNESS VITALITY DNA Test helps you identify your genetic strengths and optimally tailor your training and recovery accordingly. The analysis shows how your body responds to different training methods, which sports are best suited to you, and how your muscles recover. You also receive valuable information about how your body handles injuries and which nutrients can enhance your performance. This DNA test enables you to achieve your fitness goals more efficiently, optimize muscle growth, and minimize the risk of injury. The simple saliva sample provides well-founded insights after analysis in a certified laboratory, which you can conveniently access online.

A healthy diet is not the same for everyone—your genetic makeup determines which nutrients your body processes particularly well and which it absorbs less efficiently. The NUTRICARE INFINITY DNA Test analyzes how your metabolism responds to macronutrients such as fats, carbohydrates, and proteins, as well as which vitamins and minerals your body particularly needs. The test also provides insight into whether you have genetically determined intolerances or increased sensitivity to certain foods. With these insights, you can tailor your diet and promote more energy, well-being, and better digestion in the long term. The test is performed using a saliva sample and, following laboratory analysis, provides personalized nutritional recommendations that you can access at any time in your digital user account.

Every person's skin is unique, yet many skincare products rely on universal formulas that do not suit every skin type. The Anti-Aging SKINCARE DNA Test deciphers your genetic skin characteristics and shows which skincare is truly right for you. The analysis examines factors such as hydration, skin elasticity, collagen breakdown, and the tendency to develop pigmentation spots or inflammation. This helps you understand how your skin responds to environmental influences, aging processes, and certain ingredients. With these insights, you can tailor your skincare routine and keep your skin healthy and radiant in the long term. The test is simple: it uses a saliva sample that is analyzed in a certified laboratory. You then receive a personalized skincare report that you can access digitally and that helps you develop a customized routine for your skin's needs.
