The laboratory will analyze your genetic variations, after which your analysis will be available as a PDF in your customer account.

Evaluating a DNA test takes 15 to 25 business days from receipt of your saliva sample at the laboratory. In addition, allow 1–3 days for the kit to be shipped to you and time for your sample to reach the laboratory by mail. We will notify you by email as soon as your sample arrives. If you also order your evaluation as a printed analysis booklet, printing and shipping will take an additional 2–3 weeks.

Yes. All samples are analyzed in a certified specialist medical laboratory using the same methods used by medical practices. The difference is not in the analysis, but in how the sample gets there: capillary blood from a fingertip instead of venipuncture, postal shipping instead of refrigerated transport, and no appointment. We check in advance which method is suitable for each parameter—that is why we deliberately offer only markers that can be reliably determined from capillary blood.

For a complete overview, we recommend a comprehensive health check every 6 to 12 months. If you want to track a specific value, an interval of 3 to 6 months is appropriate—vitamin D and ferritin take around three months before a change can be detected at all.
