Why a medical practice does not simply test everything
A refusal is rarely about saving money. It has a medical basis arising from the statistics of reference ranges, which the chapter explains below: The more values are determined at the same time, the more likely it is that at least one will be abnormal even though nothing is wrong.

What a single hormone level does not tell you
